Midpoint

Midpoint is an on-chain escrow platform designed specifically for freelancers and clients. It acts as a trustless digital middle ground. Clients lock their project payment (in POL or USDC) in a smart contract escrow, and freelancers submit their completed work using an IPFS CID. Clients then have a 14-day review window to approve the work, dispute it, or let the timer run out. If a dispute arises before the review time expires, Midpoint implements a unique "decay pressure" model where unresolved disputes burn 5% of the total escrowed funds every 14 days, incentivizing quick and fair resolutions.
